Each workplace's top 10 individual scores are combined to create the team's final score.
The workplace with the lowest combined total is crowned Workplace Champions for their city and takes bragging rights for the year.
Player trophy
Individual Champion
The employee with the lowest overall score across all participating workplaces will be crowned Individual Champion for their city.

How does the competition work?+
We bring our fully portable 9-hole mini golf course directly to your workplace.
Employees play throughout the event, with scores recorded and submitted to the championship leaderboard.
Once all participating businesses have completed their event, the final standings are calculated and the champions are announced.
How long does the event last?+
Our standard event duration is up to 3 hours, giving staff plenty of opportunity to take part throughout the day.
If your business requires a different event length, we're happy to discuss.
How many employees can take part?+
To enter the Workplace Putt-Off, workplaces must have a minimum of 10 employees taking part.
There is no maximum number of participants, making the competition suitable for businesses of all sizes.
Each employee is permitted a maximum of two attempts during the event, with their best score counting towards both the Individual Championship and their workplace's team score.
Employees can take part at any time during the event window, making it easy to fit around meetings and the working day.
How are the champions decided?+
Each workplace's top 10 individual scores (lowest scores) are combined to create the team's final score. The workplace with the lowest combined total is crowned Workplace Champions for their city.
The employee with the lowest overall score across all participating workplaces will be crowned Individual Champion for their city. If two or more players finish with the same score, the published championship tie-break rules will be applied.
What do the champions receive?+
The winning workplace will receive:
- The Workplace Champions Trophy
- Official Champions Certificate
- Recognition across Putter Madness' social media channels
- Bragging rights as the best workplace putting team in their city
The Individual Champion will receive:
- Individual Champions Trophy
- Official Champion Certificate
- Recognition across Putter Madness' social media channels
Is the course the same at every workplace?+
Yes. The same course layout, equipment and scoring format are used at every participating workplace to ensure a consistent and fair competition.
Do we need a large space?+
Not necessarily. A minimum space of approximately 8m x 10m is required to accommodate the course.
The course can be set up in an office, reception area, breakout space or another suitable indoor location. If you don't have one large open area, the course can also be split across multiple rooms, provided there is sufficient space overall.
If you're unsure whether your workplace is suitable, we're happy to discuss your available space and recommend the best layout.
Is the event suitable for everyone?+
Yes. The Workplace Putt-Off is designed to be fun, inclusive and suitable for all abilities. No previous golfing experience is required.
Do employees have to play all at once?+
No. One of the advantages of the event is its flexibility. Employees can join throughout the event window, making it easy to fit around meetings and the working day.
Can we provide prizes for our own staff?+
Absolutely. Many workplaces choose to offer additional internal prizes such as vouchers or team awards alongside the championship trophies.
How much does it cost?+
Entry to the Workplace Putt-Off is £650 + VAT per workplace.
This includes:
- Professional mobile mini golf course hire
- Full event setup and management
- Championship entry
- Team and individual competition
- Leaderboard administration
- Championship trophies and certificates

Is this an annual event?+
Yes. The Workplace Putt-Off is designed to become an annual championship, giving workplaces the opportunity to defend their title or challenge to become the next Workplace Champions in their city.
